Kelx had awaken with that trepidation that always seems to overshadow him whenever he bends his mind into futuristic research that contemplate the state of the world.
It was a cool harmattan morning here in the Southern hemisphere, the rain had even threatened to fall the previous evening — this gave the weather that subdued and quiet feeling that puts all of nature into calmness as they go about their daily rounds.
Even the chirping of the birds seemed to speak of hope and positivity for the new day and the new year.
All seemed great except for the nonchalant poundings of thoughts and dystopian cogitations that returned in tumultuous wave after wave in Kelx’s mind.
For all the quietness that seemed to greet the morning, Kelx was sweatingly pacing around his small living room, pondering on the thoughts of the future for the human race.
All the prophecies seemed to have aligned, the news updates, as they came through his social feeds all accelerated the vision of this dystopian future into which the world was recklessly heading-into.
The world was about to enter into a Singularity from which there will be no escape.
The year, 2024–2025 will see the full emergence of the ‘Beast from the Earth’.
The Technologies needed for this transition were all already in place.
Most of the background Legislations needed for this ‘George Orwell’s 1984 Nightmare’ were already operational.
The 2023 ‘State of The European Union’ speech by President Von Der Leyen, told how ready in Policies the ‘Global North’ was in moving with this new paradigm that was soon to envelop the world.
It seemed the ‘Beast from the Sea’ was already set for pouncing, all that remained was for the ‘Beast from the Earth’ to come full circle.
Both beasts needed to work together, they needed to time their execution to a perfection that even the heavenly bodies will envy.
Kelx’s mind had been increasingly drawn into contemplating the mysteries of the ‘Beast from the Earth’ as the countdown to the year, 2025, continued in its seeming unsympathetic round.
The characteristic description given for this particular beast was worrisome; it appeared like a lamb, but spoke in the language and tone of a dragon.
What was the meaning behind these characteristics…?
How will these traits affect the future of the world?
If this beast had alignments or similarities with the nation of America, as rationalized by futuristic sages of the past, how would it play into the coming Presidential elections in the United States?
These thoughts ‘zinged’ their neurotic pathways through Kelx’s mind…
The future seemed pregnant. What it will give birth to, Kelx knew it was his existential mission to unravel.
The soft chirping of the birds called Kelx’s mind into the reality of the quietness of the day.
He purposed to pursue this overarching thought more during the course of the day and weeks to follow, for now, he shelved the ruminations of the apocalyptic script into an easy to access shelve in his mind.
He knew the cogitations of his mind all through the day would always vortex itself around what he had read that morning.
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”
